Happy Valentine's Day

We didn't do much for Valentine's day this year. Aaron wasn't feeling too good. We spent the day with just the three of us which was actually perfect for me. I couldn't ask for anything more than to spend the day with my two loves.

Grammy Karen and Grandpa JC sent Brinley these two Valentine's Day outfits. Doesn't she look cute!

Sick Baby, Sick Parents

I managed to pick up a nasty cold somewhere (not that I have been a lot of places in the last three weeks) but I passed it on to not only Aaron but poor Brinley as well. Her poor little nose is so congested she is having a tough time breathing and eating. We took her to the pediatrician today and he showed us how to flush out her nose with some saline solution to try and help her breath. He said he can't say for sure its not RSV but he is hoping it is just a cold. We are supposed to watch her over the next few days and see if she gets better or worse. So today we are resting while all three of us attempt to feel better. We weighed her while we were at the Dr. office and she is already up to 9 pounds 10 ounces. That is a whole pound in under two weeks! She is up almost two pounds from her birth weight. The pediatrician said that is a good sign that she is doing well.

Bath Time and more...

Brinley has finally decided that baths aren't so bad after all. As long as I run the water pretty warm and don't get her hair wet until the very end she enjoys her baths. She hates it when I take her out and she gets cold so we try to get her dressed as quickly as possible and then she is happy again.

I love taking pictures of her almost every day. She is growing up so fast that I am afraid I will forget what she was like when she was this little. Here are some of the pictures from the last week or so.

This almost looks like a smile but mostly she looks a little frightened!

Hanging out in her swing.

I love these little jeans and she is so sweet when she is asleep.

These are my favorite newborn jammies, they are so soft and cozy. She is almost too long for them and I wanted a picture of her in them before she outgrows them. She wasn't so into the photo shoot.
